Our 18-MEA Restore Treatment mimics the hair's natural 18-MEA (18-methyl eicosanoic acid) lipid layer, replenishing essential fatty layers to restore hair's hydrophobicity, increase shine, and improve manageability without weighing it down.
This biomimetic hair treatment restores 18-MEA, the hair’s natural lipid layer. Designed with textured hair in mind, while delivering exceptional performance across all hair types. With advanced conditioning agents, hydrating betaine, nourishing pracaxi oil, protein and amodimethicone to restore and nourish the hair. The star ingredient is C10-40 Isoalkylamidopropylethyldimonium Ethosulfate, which is a biomimetic derivative of 18-methyleicosanoic acid (18-MEA).
Our hair care products are specifically formulated to be in the acidic pH range, which is optimum for hair and scalp health.
HOW TO USE
Use weekly or as needed as a hair treatment mask after washing. Apply to wet hair, 3cm from the roots, then comb through the hair to ensure all strands are coated. Best left in for 30 minutes then rinsed out, but can also be used as a normal conditioner and left in for a few minutes during your shower routine.
